Many communities are currently being canvassed by companies offering the supply of lighting at low or even free cost in exchange for EWC rights.
Faced with this practice, questions arise about the quality of the luminaires offered and the possible public purchase which does not respect the rules inherent to the organization of public lighting competence.
The FNCCR, the French Lighting Association, the Lighting Union, the Association of Territorial Engineers and Territorial Chief Engineers of France and the SERCE have in this context published a guide relating to the purchase of lighting fixtures for communities for greater vigilance regarding these canvassing.
